Come for a get-away in Vermont with Women Outdoors and Bold Paths Adventures. Good company, good food, good exercise and arts/crafts!
This is an event put on jointly by Women Outdoors and www.Boldpaths.com.
Open to all skill levels.
Women on this adventure should become members of Women Outdoors (www.womenoutdoors.org), as it is an overnight trip.
Time to think spring, so let’s look at a paddling and hiking weekend. Great local hikes and paddle opportunities abound. Choose your adventure!
We are planning a trip to either Groton State Forest, or to Barton’s Cove on the Connecticut River, western Mass.
Once we know who’s coming, we can choose which group activities we do and the schedule.
Accommodations: Camping. Tents, sleeping pads and bags are available if you don’t have your own.
COSTS:
to be determined
Cost for either option includes kayak/canoe guiding and hike guiding opportunities. A good time if you want to co-lead a hike, to become a hike leader. contact bonna.wieler@gmail.com for that opportunity. We will cover leadership skills as well.
Food costs not included. We’ll cook together; bring groceries.
Tell us if you are interested, so we can get an idea of how many people we can expect: write to <boldpaths@gmail.com> or call Bonna at 802-333-3549.
Kayaks and gear are available for rent at $25/day.
RSVP on this site after you have RVSP’d with Bonna.
