February & April Vacation Camps
We offer vacation camp twice a year during the February and April school vacation weeks. The variety of activities varies depending on the season and weather.
Our goal is to provide a small group, outdoor experience, and to teach:
- Respect for the environment, and respect for each other
- Environmental awareness while exploring out-of-doors
- Creativity through natural arts
- Learning of outdoor, camping, and primitive skills
February School Vacation Camp (Ages 5-14)
Partnering with Ravens Wood Outdoor School, Touching the Earth and Arts Camp will be held this year at the Ravens Wood site in Thetford Center, just 7 minutes from traditional TEA Camp. There is a 16×20′ heated tent up in the woods, which is ‘basecamp’, and an indoor space for the beginning of the day.
Campers will be outdoors as much as possible, building snow forts, hiking and exploring, tracking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, learning fire-building and cooking outdoors, and creating with natural arts and crafts. Walking field trips (1/2 mile) to the town-owned Hughes Forest are planned for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Children from all towns are welcome, ages 5-14. Volunteer Counselor-in-Training positions available for ages 15-18, if enrollment space allows.
Options for 3-day or 5-day enrollment are available.

It may not be time yet!! Kids would stay dry! Middle and High School Counselors-in-Training are welcome to apply.
